Powys County Council has 10 family tickets to the National Botanic Garden of Wales as a competition giveaway.

All you have to do to enter is sign up to the garden waste collection service by Sunday, June 30.

To sign up to the service, visit www.powys.gov.uk/gardenwaste or telephone 01597 827465.

Residents that have signed up to the new service already will also be included in the competition.

Cllr Phyl Davies, Cabinet Member for Highways, Recycling and Assets, said: "Nearly 7,000 households have signed up to take advantage of our new service since it was introduced in April.  Now that the growing season is really upon us, we are offering an added incentive to give the service a go.

"Having your garden waste collected from your house couldn't be easier, simply sign up online for this convenient service and you will be entered into this great competition.  Not only that but you will be helping us to increase recycling and doing your bit for the environment."
